INDICATIONS
Designed for guided cementoplasty and osteosynthesis of the spine and pelvis, performed under local anesthesia, it also allows for bone biopsy of the spinal and pelvic bones.
Co-axial system with guide (Chiba needle).
Intended for use in adults.
Composition
FOR VERTEBROPLASTY
A. 2 Chiba guide needles with orientation marks, equipped with their "button" base mandrel and a movable slider. One of the needles is breakable.
B. Sharpened cannula with orientation marker and movable slider.
C. Lockable reduction cannula.
D. Cleaning or cement-pushing mandrel.
FOR BONE BIOPSY
E. Trepan cannula for biopsy
F. Additional lockable butt.
G. Core bone extraction mandrel.
KEY Features
This set is:
• Developed for all types of cementoplasty with biopsy under local anesthesia across the entire spine (cervical, thoracic, lumbar).
• Suitable for passing through soft tissue and bone.
• Equipped with Chiba guide needles allowing local anesthesia of the skin and soft tissues along the entire path of the sharpened cannula, as well as cannula guidance.
• Fitted with a Luer Lock-compatible connection.
• Equipped with a movable slider to control penetration depth.
• Designed to be connected to a THIEBAUD cement injector from the X’tens range.
